Lorena Wiebes has done it again! The SD Worx sprinter took her 6th career stage win in Vuelta a Burgos Feminas, making it two from two in this edition's sprint finishes. Ally Wollaston (FDJ) opened the sprint first but Wiebes came over the top, with Elisa Balsamo (Lidl-Trek) slotting into second. Wiebes extends her GC lead to 14 seconds over Consonni. A crash for Clara Emond (Auber93) was the only incident in an otherwise textbook sprint stage — the breakaway trio of de Laurentiis, Pavesi, and Snortheim was caught at Roa de Duero, Sara Martín's solo move was shut down with 12 km to go, and then the sprint trains took over. Wiebes now has 8 wins this season and shows no signs of slowing down.
